Alisha L. Linville

October 14, 1970 — January 13, 2018

Alisha L. Linville, 47, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born October 14, 1970, in Vincennes, the daughter of Dwayne and Sharon (Gilmore) Earley. On February 18, 1997, she married Daniel Wayne “Dan” Linville, and he preceded her in death on September 26, 2016. In addition to her parents of Loogootee, Alisha is survived by her daughters, Jessica Rubio and husband, Jason, of Morristown, and Dana Wodrich and husband, Nik, of Grand Rapids, Michigan; son, Ben Linville and wife, Gena, of Shelbyville; sisters, Dana Bement of Bloomington, Michelle Earley of Morristown, and Andi Earley of Loogootee; grandchildren, Carson, Cailin, Olivia, Kellen and Eli; and five nieces and nephews. Alisha graduated from Pike Central High School in 1988 and obtained an Associates Degree in Biology. She retired from Eli Lilly, working in data management and teratology, with 22 years of service. Alisha enjoyed crafting and drawing. She also leaves behind her dog, Millie. A gathering of friends will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2018 at Little Blue River Friends Church, 142 SCR 1000 W, in Rush County. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the church, with Pastor Gary Jones officiating. Inurnment will be at Little Blue River Friends Cemetery in Rush County. Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 124 E. North St. in Morristown. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice of charity.
