Anunziata "Nancy" Rose Linne

Anunziata “Nancy” Rose Linne, 77, of Fairland passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020, at Golden Living Center in Greenfield. She was born November 19, 1942, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Ralph and Marie C. Stone. On October 19, 1963, she married John Michael Linne, and he preceded her in death on August 20, 2017. Nancy is survived by her sons, Gregg Michael Linne of San Antonio, Florida, John Edward Linne and Scott Allen Linne, both of Fairland; brothers, Carl Stone and wife, Karen, of Minnesota, and Tony Stone of Maryland; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to John, Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Mary Harris. Nancy was a 1960 graduate of Scecina High School in Indianapolis. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Nancy formerly worked for the State of Indiana in the governor’s office. She enjoyed sewing and cross stitching. Services will be conducted at a later date. Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Nancy’s family would like to thank the Golden Living Center in Greenfield and Aseracare Hospice for the excellent care she received. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 228 E. Hendricks St., Shelbyville, Indiana 46176.
