Beth Lynn Mummert

 

Beth Lynn Mummert, 66, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus.

She was born October 3, 1956, in Burlington, Wisconsin, the daughter of William James Hasenbein and June Rose (Nail) Coomer.

Beth is survived by her mother of Shelbyville; son, Shawn Mummert and wife, Melissa, of Shelbyville; and grandchildren, Addison Mummert, Taige Mummert and Ava Mummert.

In addition to her step-father, Randall Roy Coomer, who raised her; Beth was preceded in death by her sister, Lisa Kay Cates.

Beth was a member of the Vineyard Church in Greenwood.

She retired from NOK Freudenberg, with over 20 years of service.

Beth was formerly a national champion in dart throwing and participated in competition roller skating.

She also enjoyed painting ceramics.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home, with Rev. Bill Horner officiating.

Inurnment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date.
