Beverly S. Mockerman

Beverly S. Mockerman, 78, of Greensburg, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at her home.

She was born on January 31, 1948, in Paris, Arkansas, the daughter of Johnny Woolsey and Mary Inez (Blankenship) Monahan. On September 17, 1973, she married her husband of nearly 53 years, Harvey Mockerman, and he survives.

In addition to Harvey, Beverly is survived by her children, Monica Ivey (Alan) of Fishers, James Mockerman (Breana) of Plainfield, and January Mockerman (Grace) of Greensburg; sister, Charlotte Gangwer of Westfield; grandchildren, Lauren, Zackery, Megan, Milo and Madison; one great-grandson; and two nieces.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; father that raised her, James Monahan; and one niece.

In 1966, Beverly graduated from Lawrence Township High School, and attended college.

She was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Beverly had formerly worked as an accountant for several companies.

She loved watching classical movies and cooking shows. Beverly was an excellent cook.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
