Brian Todd Conover, 60, of Shelbyville passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis. He was born January 19, 1960, in Rushville, the son of Lloyd Conover and Nancy Brown. On December 20, 1982, he married his wife of 37 years, Terry Lay, and she survives. In addition to Terry, Brian is survived by his son, Brian Lee Conover Sr. of Shelbyville; grandson, Brian Lee Conover Jr.; brother, Brett C. Conover of Shelbyville; and many close and caring friends. Brian was preceded in death by his father. He was a member of the Christian Life Centre. Brian was a commercial painter for Brewer Machine and Manufacturing, for the last 15 years. He had previously worked for Huber Brothers Painting for 25 years. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his son. Brian was an Alice Cooper fan and enjoyed attending his concerts. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2020 at the Christian Life Centre, 1115 St. Joseph St. in Shelbyville. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the church, with Rev. Allan Springer officiating. Interment will be at Lewis Creek Cemetery in Shelby County. Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Life Centre or the Shelbyville-Shelby County Animal Shelter, 705 Hale Road, Shelbyville, Indiana 46176.
