Christa Elizabeth Allen Guilfoyle

Christa Elizabeth Allen Guilfoyle, 39, of Flagstaff, Arizona, formerly of Shelbyville, Indiana passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at her home. She was born December 21, 1979, in Shelbyville, the daughter of Victor and Charlotte Sue (Fischer) Allen. On July 11, 2009, she married Gregory Guilfoyle, and he survives. In addition to Gregory, Christa is survived by her father, Victor Allen and wife, Maxine, of Shelbyville; sons, Wyatt Allen Guilfoyle, Caleb James Guilfoyle and Evan Gregory Guilfoyle, all of Flagstaff; brothers, John Gabriel Allen of Columbus, and Adam Bowen and wife, Jenna, of Carmel; and sisters, Lauren Rachael Manning and husband, Greg, of Commiskey, and Dana Cummings and husband Paul, of Franklin. She will also be greatly missed by her large loving extended family. Christa was preceded in death by her mother. She graduated in 1998 from Shelbyville High School and attended Ball State University for four years. Christa was a member of First Christian Church in Shelbyville. She worked at Flagstaff Memorial Hospital as the lead radiology technologist. Christa loved the outdoors and going hiking. She also loved photography and listening to music. A gathering of friends will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. A Celebration of Christa’s life will be at 11:30 am, Saturday at the funeral home, with Rev. Bill Horner officiating.
