Christopher “Cole” Ross, 26, of Shelbyville passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019 at his residence. He was born December 3, 1992, in Beech Grove, the son of Thomas Christopher “Chris” and Kimberly Diane “Kim” (Higgins) Ross. Cole is survived by his parents, Chris and Kim Ross of Shelbyville; sister, Kate Ross of Indianapolis; paternal grandparents, David and Janet Ross of Shelbyville; maternal grandparents, Wilbur and Brenda Higgins of Shelbyville; uncle, Jeremy Ross and wife, Michele, of Indianapolis; aunts, Lori Burnett of Shelbyville and Christy Ross of Greenwood; great-aunts and great-uncles; cousins; and many loving friends. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Jeff Ross. Cole graduated from Morristown High School in 2011; and received his certificate of CNC Machining from Ivy Tech. Cole liked working on cars, his 4-wheeler and anything mechanical. He will always be remembered as loving, funny and intelligent. He put the needs of others first and was always there to lend a helping hand. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Private graveside services will be conducted at Hanover Cemetery in Shelby County. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice of charity.
