Christopher Ryan “Chris” Clymer, 51, of Shelbyville passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021, at MHP Medical Center in Shelbyville, He was born May 19, 1969, in Martinsville, the son of David L. Clymer and Pam J. (Nelson) Cragen. Chris is survived by his sons, Ryan W.D. Clymer and Corey J. Clymer, both of Shelbyville; brother, Rand Clymer of Indianapolis; sister, Nikki Wood of Indianapolis; best friend and mother of his children, Ann E. (Kaster) Sager of Shelbyville; step-father, Kenneth Cragen of Martinsville; and step-brother, Nick Cragen of Martinsville. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael Brian Clymer; grandmother, Flora Chambers; and grandfather, Carl Nelson. Chris graduated in 1987 from Martinsville High School. He was a US Marine veteran, serving during Desert Storm. Chris retired from UPS in 2017, with 25 years of service, where he delivered on the north side of Indianapolis. He loved fishing, especially deep sea fishing with his sons. Chris enjoyed watching Indiana University basketball, Indianapolis Colt football and crime shows. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 19, 2021 at the funeral home. Online condolences may be shared with Chris’ family at www.freemanfamilyfuneralhomes.com.
