Clarence Leon "Bud" Evans

Clarence Leon “Bud” Evans, 65, of Fairland passed away Friday, February 5, 2021, at his home. He was born July 24, 1955, in Indianapolis, the son of Clarence and Virginia (Montgomery) Evans. Bud is survived by his sisters, Kathy Dunaway (Phil), of Fairland, Karen Miller (Bruce), and Karol Evans (David Thacker), both of Shelbyville; brother, Bill Evans (Donna Wildrick), of Fairland; sister-in-law, Glenya Evans of Fairland; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Larry Evans. Bud graduated in 1973 from Triton Central High School. He owned and operated Evan’s Remodeling, as a self-employed contractor, retiring in 2019. Bud built a rapport of friendship and loyalty with his clients, taking great pride in his work and service. Bud loved animals, especially cats. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shelbyville-Shelby County Animal Shelter, 705 Hale Road, Shelbyville, Indiana 46176.
