Colt Douglas Landan Andry, 18, of Fountaintown, passed away Monday, April 17, 2023, in Shelbyville.

He was born February 9, 2005, in Shelbyville, the son of William Douglas Andry and Brenda “Sue” (John) Seaborn.

Colt leaves behind his grandpa, Larry E. John Sr. and wife, Jean, of Shelbyville; his guardian, Aunt Sharon “Sheri” A. Yarling and husband, Chris, of Fountaintown; aunts and uncles, Larry E. John Jr. and wife, Jessie, of Manilla, Julie McMichael and husband, Ted, of Greenfield, Scott Morgan and wife, Becky, of Knightstown; cousins, Carrie McMichael, Ross McMichael, Zach Crisman and wife, Rachel, Tabitha Crisman, Kiefer John and wife, Angel, Katie John and fiance’, Thomas, Lisa Altringer and husband, Jay and Lindsay Yarling; additional cousins, Ryan, Luke, Paisley, Marley, Phoenix, Aiden, Karter and Grace; and his girlfriend, Kaitlyn Cleveland of Shelbyville, whom he loved with all of his heart.

He was preceded in death by his mother; grandmother, Patricia M. “Nanny” Huff; and uncle, Jeff W. John.

Colt was a Senior at Morristown High School.

He attended the First Church of the Nazarene Shelbyville and Nazarene Youth Group.

Colt loved his family with all of his heart and he made time with all of them.  His church family changed his life in the right direction.  They are all so proud of the young man he had become, he touched their hearts in so many ways.  He showed everyone what perseverance and determination looked like.

He loved farm life, hanging with his Grandpa Larry, since a small boy and getting to learn all about farming.  He enjoyed working at Ramsey Farms, Colt had known the Ramsey’s all of his life and attended church with them.

Colt loved being outdoors. He enjoyed spending endless hours with his girlfriend, Kaitlyn and his horse, Beau, that meant the world to him.

Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St., in Morristown.  Please wear a cowboy hat in memory of Colt.

Inurnment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene Youth Group, 2315 S. Riley Highway, Shelbyville, Indiana 46176.
