Daniel Joseph Pollman, 25, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 at his residence. He was born February 1, 1992, in Indianapolis, the son of Paul Vincent and Barbara Kay (McBee) Pollman. In addition to his parents, Daniel is survived by his brother, Chris Pollman of Shelbyville; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Lillian Pollman; and maternal grandparents, Robert and Donna McBee. Daniel graduated from Waldron High School in 2010, where he played clarinet in the band. He continued his education at Ivy Tech College and received an associates degree in Interior Design. He was pursuing a career in art. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Daniel was a talented artist and enjoyed drawing and origami. He also enjoyed playing video games and watching movies. He was a great lover of all animals and particularly loved his cats. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville, with the rosary recited at 3:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 4218 E. Michigan Road, Shelbyville, with Father Mike Keucher officiating. Interment will be at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Sarcoma Foundation of America, 9899 Main St., Suite 201, Damascus, MD 20872.
