David Alan Hill

David Alan Hill, 68, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Brandywine Care Center in Greenfield.

He was born April 11, 1955, in Shelbyville, the son of Wayne A. Hill and Phyllis (Haehl) Barton.

David is survived by his son, Daniel A. Hill of Knightstown; daughter, Jessica K. Gooding and husband, Chris, of Morristown; brothers, Robert Hill of Justin, Texas and Brent Hill of Shelbyville; sisters, Beverly Ernstes of Shelbyville, Patricia Hupp and husband, Ron, of Columbus, Ohio, and Janet Weaver and husband, Mark of Winamac; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In 1973, David graduated from Shelbyville High School.

David was a veteran of the US Army.

He was employed at KCL Corporation for 22 years, as a service production worker.

Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.
