David Wayne Piercy

David Wayne Piercy, 56, of Shelbyville passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Especially Kidz in Shelbyville. He was born October 23, 1964, in Shelbyville, the son of Lyle Piercy and Ramona (Bertram) Piercy. David is survived by brothers, John L. Piercy of Manilla, and Terry L. Piercy and wife, Jackie, of Shelbyville; sister, Janet S. Olinger and husband, John, of San Augustine, Florida; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. David enjoyed working with building blocks and toy trucks. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 :30 p.m. Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Travis Conway officiating. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.
