Dennis Wayne Holland, 60, of Indianapolis passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021, at his residence. He was born April 1, 1960, in Indianapolis, the son of Charles Wayne and Patricia Danese (Burns) Holland. Dennis is survived by his son, Chad Holland of Indianapolis; daughters, Jeri Hale and Teri Holland, both of Indianapolis; sisters, Danese Kelley of Camby, and Pat Sites of Indianapolis; brother, David Holland of Wanamaker; grandchildren, Chloe, McKenzie and Chase; “The best friend a guy could have” Kathy Alexander of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Daniel W. Holland on May 27, 2016. Dennis graduated in 1978 from Triton Central High School. He worked in the printing business, serving Shelbyville and Indianapolis. Dennis was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge No. 211, in Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 22, 2021, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at the funeral home, with Rev. Bill Horner officiating. Interment will be at Fairland Cemetery in Fairland. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Association, 5635 W. 96th St., Suite 100, Indianapolis, Indiana 46278 or Riley Children’s Foundation, 30 S.
