Diane Marjorie Newman

Diane Marjorie Newman, 72, of Morristown passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Morristown Manor. She was born September 12, 1946, in Burton, Michigan, the daughter of Earl John and Doreen Marjorie (Beattenhead) Wright. Diane is survived by her daughter, Crystal Denney and husband, Tony, of Morristown; son, Michael Newman of Morristown; brothers, John Wright and wife, Heather, of Burton, and Jim Wright and wife, Mary, of Montrose, Michigan; sister, Carol Tabb and husband, Robert, of Arizona; grandchildren, Cameron Denney, Caleb Denney and Briana Denney; great-grandchildren, Sophie, CJ, Macy, McKinley, Ariana and Carter; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Diane graduated in 1964 from Atherton High School in Burton. She was a member of the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Burton. Diane was a caregiver for her son. She loved to read and was a “Friend of the Library”. Diane enjoyed ballroom dancing. She and her parents enjoyed a coffee club with friends at the neighborhood Meijer Store in Burton. Private family services will be held at a later date. Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.
