Durrell “Darrell” Evans, 63, of Greensburg passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 at his residence. He was born September 12, 1954, in Dunnville, Kentucky, the son of Hugo and Lois (Overstreet) Evans. On October 4, 1974, he married Reeda Scott, and she survives. In addition to Reeda, Darrell is survived by his mother of Dunnville, Kentucky; daughter, Amanda Vogel and husband, Phillip, of Westport; brothers, Jimmy Evans and wife, Mary Ann, of Houstonville, Kentucky, Ronnie Evans and wife, Paulette, Greg Evans and wife, Kenetta, and Roger Evans and wife, Peggy, all of Dunnville, Kentucky, Danny Evans and wife, Sharlene, Gary Evans and wife, Joann, and Ricky Evans and wife, Terry, all of Liberty, Kentucky; sister, Wanda Leucke and husband, Dan, of Lafayette; grandchildren, Andrea Jones, Luke Jones and Sarah Jones; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Clark and Vonda Anderson of Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. Darrell graduated from Casey County High School in 1973. He was a member of Faith Trinity Pentecostal Church in Shelbyville, where he served as a deacon and was minister for 33 years. Darrell retired from Delta Faucet in 2006, with over 20 years of service. He enjoyed gardening. Darrell also leaves behind his cat, Monkey. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Faith Trinity Pentecostal Church, 505 W. Pennsylvania Street in Shelbyville, Indiana. Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Sunday at the church, with Rev. Perry Fouts officiating. Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. From 3 to 4 p.m. Monday, September 10, 2018, visitation will be held at the Salem United Methodist Church, 3989 Linnie Rheber Road, in Liberty, Kentucky, with funeral services following at 4 p.m., with Gary Evans officiating. Burial will be at Salem Cemetery in Liberty, Kentucky. Memorial contributions may be made to the Darrell Evans Memorial Fund, in care of Freeman Family Funeral Homes, 819 S.
