Elaine Stickle

Elaine Stickle, 74, of Shelbyville, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at her home.

She was born February 27, 1951, in Franklin, the daughter of Charles A. and Pansy M. (McMurray) Pyle.

Elaine is survived by her daughter, Stacy Farley of Shelbyville; brother, Keith Pyle of Fountaintown; sisters, Pamela Williams of New Whiteland, and Kathy Pyle of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Brendan Stickle, Alexis Farley, Avery Farley and Timothy Zellner; great-grandchild, Cohen Stickle; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Jesse Stickle.

In 1969, she graduated from Southwestern High School.

She attended Mount Gilead Baptist Church.

Elaine enjoyed hanging out with her family and playing bingo and skibo.

A Celebration of Elaine’s life will be from 5 to 7 pm, on Friday, September 26, 2025 in the community area at Loper Commons.

Private Inurnment was at Miller Cemetery.

Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
