Elizbeth E. Schott, 87, of Shelbyville, died Wednesday, March 9, 2005, at Major Hospital.
Mrs. Elizbeth E. Schott, 1935 graduate of Madison High School, was a Shelby County Resident since 1936. She had The Knit Shop at former S.B. Morris and later worked at the Goodman's Department Store. She operated the Jack and Jill Kingergarten from 1958 to 1961. Married to Harry F. Schott who died on July 9, 1982. Mrs Schott was head of volunteers for the Shelby County Red Cross and was a 60 year member of the First Presbyterian Church. Memorial contributions may be donated to the Children's Section Shelbyville Shelby County Public Library.
Survivors include a son, Steve Schott of Shelbyville, a daughter, Mrs Gerald W. (Hetty) Gray of Boggstown, three grandsons, four great granddaughters, two great grandsons, and one step great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wesley Turner, mother, Goldie Turner, and her husband Harry F. Schott.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
