Emily Ann Myers, 69, of London, Ind., died Monday, Jan. 8, 2007, at St. Francis Hospital, Beech Grove.
Born Aug. 20, 1937, in Marion County, she was the daughter of Houghman H. and Nina J. (Barbour) Hendricks. She married Jackie Lee Myers, and he survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Connie Lea (husband, Jeff) Eckrich of Midwest City, Okla., and Kris Dabney of Shelbyville; one brother, Houghman "Hall" Hendricks of Pleasant View; one sister, Barbara Smith of London; and three grandchildren, Dustin Dabney of London, Lore Ann Cox of Ramstein, Germany, and John Dabney of Shelbyville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Robert Oren Hendricks.
Mrs. Myers was a homemaker and had been employed at Wal-Mart in sales.
She was a member of New Life United Methodist Church in Fairland, where she served as leader of the MYF group and taught Sunday school and Bible school.
Mrs. Myers loved her animals and liked to garden.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jerry Crouse officiating.
Interment will be in London Cemetery in Shelby County.
