Fern “Joyce” Harris, 82, formerly of Greenfield, passed away Monday, June 15, 2020, at Aperion Care in Waldron.
She was born November 13, 1937, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Wilson Kerr and Geneva (Sosbe) McColley.
Joyce is survived by her sons, David Miller and wife, Jan, Victor Allen Miller and wife, Lisa, both of Greensburg, Kentucky, and Steven Miller and wife, Amy, of Fishers; daughters, Sandra Kay Lagasse and husband, Frank, of South Carolina, and Michele Frost and Mark, of Fairland; brothers, Johnny McColley and Roger McColley, both of Campbellsville, Kentucky, Danny McColley and Mark McColley, both of Duluth, Minnesota; sister, Janet Franklin of Campbellsville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Erin, Jason, Trevar, Christopher, Nathan, Stephanie, Rochelle, Elizabeth, William, Abraham, Sarah, Emily and Lillian; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Skip McColley.
Joyce was a homemaker and mother.
She enjoyed crocheting and flower gardening.
Joyce loved dogs and leaves behind, Murphy and Dusty.
Private graveside services will be at Miller Cemetery in Shelby County.
Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
