Frank R. “Richard” Wagner, 72, of Naperville, Illinois, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis. He was born December 2, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Frank and Betty (Hall) Wagner. He married Geraldine “Jerry” Ohler Litteral on September 30, 2011, and she survives. In addition of Jerry, Richard is survived by his daughter, Vanessa Tucker of Chicago; step-sons, David Litteral and wife, Pam, of Lyons, Illinois and Brian Litteral and wife, Ali, of St. Charles, Illinois; step-daughter, Beth Adkins and husband, Chris, of Fairland; brothers, Mark Wagner and wife, Eileen, of Chicago, and Kurt Wagner and wife, Marygrace, of Boston, Massachusetts; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Richard attended Brandeis University for one year. He retired from Thomson Reuters Corp. in Chicago, as a system analyst, in 2013. Richard enjoyed photography, gardening, pottery and cooking. He loved his dogs, PoPo and LoShen. Private family services will be observed. Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 115 W.
