Gary Thomas Prokson

Gary Thomas Prokson, 79, of Shelbyville passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis. He was born September 13, 1941, in Schenectady, New York, the son of Thomas Julius and Luella May (LeMay) Prokson. Gary is survived by his partner, Cindy Ritter of Shelbyville; daughters, Colleen Clark and Kim McBride and husband, Steve; son, Michael Prokson and wife, Tammy; grandchildren, Michael, Heather, Michael, Michelle and Katelyn; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Gary formerly worked as a printer for commercial products. He enjoyed RVing. Private family services will be held at a later date. Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
