Glenna C. Vanosdol, 91, of Shelbyville passed away Friday, December 11, 2020, at MHP Medical Center in Shelbyville.
She was born April 10, 1929, in Ripley County, the son of Fred E. and Cora (Demaree) Greene. In 1947, she married Franklin P. Vanosdol, and he preceded her in death on January 3, 2000.
Glenna is survived by her sons, Larry Vanosdol and wife, Sally, and Todd Vanosdol and wife, Becky, both of Shelbyville; daughter, Beth Rylett and husband, Roger, of unknown; grandchildren, Zach Vanosdol and wife, Christina, Grace Vanosdol and husband, Austin, and Lori Vanosdol; step-grandson, Chris Ryhal; and sister-in-law, Wilma Greene of Madison.
In addition to Franklin, Glenna was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Veral Greene.
Glenna graduated in 1947 from Cross Plains/Friendship High School.
She retired from TRW Cinch in 1987, with 30 years of service.
Glenna was a member of Naamah Chapter No. 73 Order of Eastern Star.
She enjoyed flower gardening, quilting, crocheting, working jigsaw puzzles and collecting.
Glenna loved her family and cherished the times they spent together.
Services will be conducted at a later date.
Inurnment will be at Benham Cemetery in Ripley County.
Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
