Javier Francisco Barragan

Javier Francisco Barragan, 63, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus. He was born October 21, 1958, in Michoacan, Mexico, the son of Aldofa and Graciela (Garibay) Barragan. Javier is survived by his father of Michoacan, Mexico; daughter, Mayra Lopez and husband, Jesus, of Shelbyville; sister, Estela Barragan of Oregon; and grandchildren, Ulysses Lopez, Jesus Lopez, Nathaniel Lopez, Michael Lopez, Andy Lopez, Adrian Lopez and Nehemia Lopez. He was preceded in death by his mother. Interment will be in Michoacan, Mexico. Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
