Judith Kay "Judy" Jones

Judtih Kay “Judy” Jones, 74, of Shelbyville, passed away, Monday, January 15, 2024, at her home.

She was born November 17, 1949, in Shelbyville, the daughter of Glen C. and Eunice Jeanne (Knowlton) Losey.   On October 23, 1971, she married David M. Jones, and he preceded her in death on October 14, 2006.

Judy is survived by her brothers, Michael Losey and David Losey, both of Greenfield, and Daniel Losey of Michigan; sisters, Brenda Stull and Linda Losey, both of Shelbyville, and Denise McKinney of Hagerstown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to David, Judy was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Peggy Losey; and brother, James D. Losey.

Judy graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1968, and became a Licensed Practical Nurse.

She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

Judy formerly worked at Heritage House Convalescent Center and retired from the Methodist Home in Franklin.

She loved animals and enjoyed watching movies, knitting, crocheting and crafting.

A memorial service will be at 6 pm, Thursday, January 25. 2024, at the First Church of the Nazarene, 2315 S. Riley Highway in Shelbyville, friends may gather one-half hour prior.

Private burial was held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.

Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
