Judy Mae Pruitt

Judy Mae Pruitt, 69, of Shelbyville passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born November 6, 1950, in Rushville, the daughter of Roy and Ruth (Jones) Loveall. On December 14, 1990, she married her husband of 29 years Jeffrey L. Pruitt, and he survives. In addition to Jeff, Judy is survived by her children, Bobby Smith of Indianapolis, Greg Pruitt and wife, Mary, of Marietta, and Diane Schuler and husband, Duane, of Shelbyville; brothers, Jerry Loveall of Shelbyville, Jeff Loveall and wife, Faye, of Anderson; sister, Julie Smith of Anderson; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents. Judy graduated in 1969 from Madison Heights High School. She was a member of Saint George Lutheran Church. Judy retired in 2015 from Williams Industries, with over 15 years of service. She enjoyed crafting, going to rummage sales and collecting. Judy also enjoyed helping Jeff with the many functions at the Shelby County Fairgrounds. She was an excellent cook and was known for her meatloaf. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2020, at Saint George Lutheran Church, 10931 South 600 West, Edinburgh. Friends may gather one half hour prior to the service. Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Memorial contributions may be made to Saint George Lutheran Church, 10931 South 600 West, Edinburgh, Indiana 46124.
