Karen J. Miller, 62 of Shelbyville passed away Monday, December 10, 2007, at her home after a 25-year struggle with multiple sclerosis.
Born January 28, 1945, in Painted Post, N.Y., she was the daughter of Kenneth and Evelyn (Minnerly) Clicquennoi. She married Nelson Miller on August 18, 1969, and he survives.
Other suvivors include her sons, Erik (Natalia) Miller of San Francisco, Calif., and Jason (wife, Laura) Miller of Kingman, Ariz.; sisters, Nancy Clicquennoi (husband, Doug) Davis of Perrysburg, Ohio, and Jane Clicquennoi (husban, Rick) McGuire of Columbia, Mo.; and grandchildren, Sofia Miller-Mata, Santiago Miller-Mata and Sedona Miller-Mata.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Heather Lyn Miller.
Mrs. Miller had been a teacher in Earlville, N.Y., Lafayette and Mishawaka.
She graduated from SUNY College at Brockport in New York and Purdue University.
Mrs. Miller was a member of First United Methodist Church.
She was a devoted mother.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, 34 W. Washington St. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with Dr. Rick Miller officiating.
There will also be visitation from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 S. Main St. in Middlebury.
Interment will follow in Grace Lawn Cemetery, in Middlebury.
