Kristen Lynne Moss

Kristen Lynne Moss, 31, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021. She was born May 11, 1990, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Bryan and Tammy (Lane) Moss. Kristen is survived by her parents of Shelbyville; grandfather, Robert Lane of Shelbyville; brothers, Derek Suits and wife, Kayla, of Osceola, and Jon Moss and wife, Heather, of Shelbyville; nephew, Nate; nieces, Hayden, Natalie and Abigail; and several aunt, uncles and cousins. She was a mommy and was greeted in heaven by her own angel baby. Kristen was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Beverly Lane; paternal grandmother, Lorena Moss; paternal grandfather, Clifford Moss; uncle, Steven Moss; and cousins, Brittany Emsweller, Gibson Clouse and Marianne Lane. Kristen was a 2008 graduate of Shelbyville High School. When she was younger, she enjoyed playing softball. She grew up attending the Evangelical Methodist Church. Kristen was a beautiful spirit who had a contagious laugh and a sassy personality. She had been able to overcome many obstacles in her life and had many different passions and dreams throughout the years. She adored her nieces and nephew and loved nothing more than spending time with them. Kristen also loved her cats when she had them and she was always happy to talk about them. She had a nurturing spirit that will be deeply missed. Although heart broken, her family knows that Kristen is enjoying a new life of peace and can't wait to see her again someday. Visitation will be from Noon to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Rev. James Coulston officiating. Interment will be at Boggstown Cemetery in Shelby County.
