Kristina A. Dabney

Kristina A. Dabney, 65, of Shelbyville, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus.

She was born October 30, 1960, in Beech Grove, the daughter of Jackie Lee and Emily Ann (Hendricks) Myers.

Kristina is survived by her husband, John Dabney Sr., of Shelbyville; sons, Dustin Dabney of Fairland, and John Dabney Jr. and wife, Lindsey, of Shelbyville; sister, Connie Eckrich and husband, Jeff, of Oklahoma; brother, Lawrence Myers and wife, Anita, of Paoli; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In 1978, Kristina graduated from Triton Central High School.

She was an active member of the former New Life United Methodist Church.

Kristina loved cats and leaves behind her cats, Honey and Scout.

She was known for helping her friends and family.

Kristina enjoyed going to yard sales.

Graveside services will be held at London Cemetery in Shelby County at a later date.

Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
