Lloyd Daniel "Doober" Miller Jr.

Lloyd Daniel “Doober” Miller Jr., 50, of Shelbyville, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026, at The Willows of Shelbyville.

He was born on October 30, 1975, in Lawrenceburg, the son of Lloyd D. Miller Sr. and Cynthia (Freeman) Spurlock.

Doober is survived by his children, Jonah Miller, Brilee Miller, Emmitt Miller and Rylynn Carman, all of Shelbyville; brothers, Michael Miller and wife, Shelly, of Yorktown, Darrell Miller and wife, Kristi, of New Castle, and Joseph Freeman of New Castle; mother of his children, Mikayla Carman; step-mother, Drucilla Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Doober had worked in the culinary field for over 20 years and had formerly worked at Cagney’s.

He loved to spend time with his family, especially his children. Doober enjoyed going fishing and playing cards.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St., in Shelbyville. The Celebration of Doober’s life will be announced.
