Lois Ann Laskowski

Lois Ann Laskowski, 94, of Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Aspen Place in Greensburg.

She was born on May 16, 1932, in Shelbyville, the daughter of Clifton and Rebecca (Kinsley) Latshaw. On July 25, 1954, she married Edmund Laskowski, and he preceded her in death on May 14, 2016.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Rebeccca Jane Laskowski-Hart and husband, Tony, of Indianapolis; granddaughter, Natalie Claire LaMarre; great-grandson, Peregrine LaMarre; and brother, Dr. William K. Latshaw and wife, Rev. Dr. Jessica K. Latshaw.

In addition to Edmund, Lois was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, David Lyman Latshaw.

In 1950, Lois graduated from Shelbyville High School. She continued her education obtaining her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Indiana University.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Greensburg.

Lois was a homemaker and had formerly taught school in Shelbyville for two years and then at Indianapolis Arsenal Tech High School.

She was a member of DAR, PEO Sisterhood, Church and Synagogue Library Association and the Herb Society of America.

Private graveside services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.

Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
