Lynn Sue Conway

Lynn S. Conway, 77, of Shelbyville passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026.

She was born on January 18, 1949, to Clifford B. and Lois Ann (Willis) Sipes. She married the love of her life Ronnie “Joe” Conway on January 28, 1967. He passed away in 2016. Almost 50 years.

She had one sister, Gail Bratcher (husband, Joe) of Caneyville, Kentucky, one brother, Michael (wife, Debra) Sipes. She had nephews and nieces she loved dearly, Ronnie Compton, Craig Sipes and Jennifer Fortune, several great nieces and nephews.

She was a hairdresser for 32 years mostly in her own shop. She went to work at Coulston Elementary School as a cook for 10 years before retiring.

She was a “Master Gardner”. She loved gardening growing any kind of flowers. She dug her own pond and loved water gardening. She also loved going salmon fishing with her husband and nephew.

A gathering of friends and family will be from 11 am to 1 pm, Thursday, April, 2, 2026, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. A memorial service will follow with Rev. Bill Horner officiating.
