Lynn Sawyer Lewis

Lynn Sawyer Lewis, 58, of Flat Rock, passed away Monday, May 9, 2022, at her residence.

She was born February 20, 1964, in Noblesville, the daughter of Chester Sawyer and Agnes (Hollis) Kendall.  On November 3, 1991, she married her husband of 30 years, Lindsey Stewart Lewis, and he survives.

In addition to Lindsey, Lynn is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline Stanley and husband, David, of Greenfield, Stephanie Salmond, and Maranda Lewis, both of Flat Rock; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ruth Ann Nelson; and brother, Larry Sawyer.

Lynn enjoyed music and she loved to sing.

She loved feeding and watching the hummingbirds.

Lynn also enjoyed tending to her flower gardens.

She and Lindsey enjoyed playing darts.

Lynn also leaves behind her dogs, Nova and Jarjar Binks.

A Gathering of Friends and Celebration of Lynn’s life will be held at a later date.

Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, Indiana 46176.
