Mable M. Jordan, 72, of Columbus, died Tuesday, June 21, 2005, at Methodist Hospice Center, in Indianapolis.
Born Jan. 22, 1933, in Liberty Township, she was the daughter of the late Henry T. and Mildred I. (Fuchs) Claytor. She married Herschel H. Willey on Oct. 1, 1950, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 1966. She married John Wickliff in 1971, and he preceded her in death in 1974.
Survivors include four sons, Herschel H. (wife, Sue) Willey of Columbus, Terry L. (wife, Bernadine) Willey of Lakewood, Calif., Michael H. (wife, Sherrie) Willey of Nineveh and Ronald W. Willey of Edinburgh; three sisters, Marge P. Daugherty of Lincoln, Neb., Dorthy Claytor of Waldron and Charlotte (husband, Joe) Daugherty of Butlerville; one brother, Maurice (wife, Kathy) Claytor of Wylie, Texas; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
Mrs. Jordan was a former Shelby County resident and had lived in Columbus since May of 1976.
She was an account manager for Arvin Industries, in Columbus, for 27 years, retiring in 1995.
Mrs. Jordan was a member of New Hope Christian Church, in Columbus.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Carmony-Ewing Broadway Street Chapel, Freeman Family Funeral Homes, 232 W. Broadway St.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Seisting officiating.
Interment will be in Blue Ridge Cemetery, in Blue Ridge.
