Marleigh Mae Newton

Marleigh Mae Newton, 11 days, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at St. Vincent Womens Hospital in Indianapolis. Marleigh was born February 3, 2018, in Indianapolis, the beloved daughter of Craig and Amanda (Marlette) Newton. In addition to Craig and Amanda, Marleigh is survived by her sisters, Audree Allen and Ayva Allen, both of Pendleton; maternal grandmother, Andrea Marlette of Anderson; paternal grandfather, Richard Marlette of Anderson; paternal grandmother, Anita Newton of Shelbyville; maternal great-grandmother, Irma Dix of Yorktown; Godparents, Uncle A.J. and Aunt Maraysa Newton of Spring Hill, Tennessee; aunt, Kylie Marlette and uncle, Adam, of Panama City, Florida; and uncle, Adam Marlette of Anderson. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Tony Newton. Marleigh was a feisty little fighter and she loved her daddy’s voice. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
