Marsha G. Heuer-Pyle

Marsha G. Heuer-Pyle, 66, of Shelbyville passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018 at her residence. She was born August 20, 1952, in Shelbyville, the daughter of Robert W. and Phyllis I. (Stephens) Phares. On August 31, 2001, she married Michael “Mike” Pyle, and he survives. In addition to Mike, Marsha is survived by her step-son, Chris Pyle and wife, Rachel, of Fort Wayne; sister, Vickie Isley and husband, Rick, of Flat Rock; brother, Doug Heuer of Louisville, Kentucky; step-sisters, Theresa Reeder and husband, Michael, of California, and Judy Montgomery and husband, Greg, of Lake, Santee; one half-brother; two half-sisters including Ann Marie Reinle and husband, Nate, of Hope; brother-in-law, Gregory Pyle and wife, Sherrill, of Indianapolis; sister-in-law, Saundra Whitt of Tyler, Texas; nephew, Beau Isley and wife, Karla, of Shelbyville; niece, Amy Isley and wife, Allison, of Shelbyville, Casey Pruitt and husband, Kyle, of Waldron, and Michelle Heuer of Louisville, Kentucky; six great-nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. Marsha graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1970 and Ivy Technical College with a degree in accounting and computer programming. She was a member of Blue Ridge Christian Union Church and formerly a member of Lewis Creek Baptist Church. Marsha was an accountant for Regal Building Services, Inc. She had formerly worked at Indiana Precision Forge and Business Support Services. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Marsha loved to read and travel. She also leaves behind her two cats, Meggie and Gracie. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Funeral services will be at noon Thursday at the funeral home, with Pastor Brandon Sutton officiating. Interment will be at Lewis Creek Baptist Cemetery in Shelby County.
