Myra Jean Jeffries

Myra Jean Jeffries, 66, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 at MHP Medical Center in Shelbyville. She was born June 21, 1951 in Shelbyville, the daughter of Jesse Conner and Barbara (Seaver) Roberts. On May 25, 2002, she married Robert Curtis “Curt” Jeffries, and he survives. Myra is also survived by her mother of Shelbyville; son, Eric Scott of Phoenix, Arizona; daughters, Kelly Parsley and husband, Kyle, of Manilla, and Jessica Scott of Shelbyville; sister, Debbie Brooks and husband, Mike, of Shelbyville; brother, Bruce Conner of Franklin; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father; and son, Robert Todd Scott. Myra graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1969. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant for several years and enjoyed volunteering at MHP Medical Center. Myra was a member of the American Legion Post No. 70 Auxiliary.
