Nancy E. Mohr

Nancy E. Mohr, 72, of Flat Rock, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus.

She was born on February 26, 1954, in Rush County, the daughter of Rubert and Eleanor R. (Carr) Kuhn. On December 30, 1971, she married her husband of 54 years, Larry Mohr, and he survives.

In addition to Larry, Nancy is survived by her daughter, Joanna Yeend and husband, Rob; son, Joshua Mohr and wife, Jennifer; sisters, Carol Sue Benson, Sherry Bowman and Melody Lux. She was Mamaw CiCi to Colin (Emmy), Lauren (Brady), Connor (Olivia), Nick (Brianna), Hannah and Zack. She had numerous nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Brenda Kuhn.

She was an active and faithful member of Lewis Creek Baptist Church, where she had served as treasurer.

Nancy was the secretary and treasurer for Larry Mohr Construction Inc.

She was also a member of the Dizzy Dames Home Economic Club and Faithful Friends Card Club.

Nancy enjoyed her time “loving on her grandchildren” and spending “Mohr Time” on Dale Hallow Lake. She also enjoyed tending to her gardens.

Visitation will be from 10 am to 1 pm, Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Lewis Creek Baptist Church, 1400 E 600 S, Waldron.

Funeral services will follow at 1 pm, with Pastor Jeff Stratton officiating.

Interment will be at Lewis Creek Baptist Cemetery in Shelby County.

Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
