Patricia Ann "Pat" Lux

Patricia Ann “Pat” Lux, 83, of Manilla, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at her home.

She was born on February 8, 1943, in Shelbyville, the daughter of Kenneth R. and Ruth E. (Beeson) Graham. On June 20, 1969, she married her husband of nearly 57 years, Thomas L. Lux, and he survives.

In addition to Tom, Pat is survived by her children, Jeff Slaton and wife, Brenda, and Kyle Lux and wife, Scarlett, both of Rushville, Kim Lux of Manilla, and Matt Lux and wife, Christina, of Fortville; sister, Sue Penrose of Shelbyville; grandchildren, David Slaton, Brandon Slaton, Michael Slaton, Devin Lux, Emma Lux Howe and husband, Cody, Grace Lux, Eva Lux and Jack Lux; numerous nieces and nephews; and all the Lux family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Kathie Graham.

In 1961, Pat graduated from Shelbyville High School. She continued her education at Saint Mary of the Woods obtaining her Associates Degree. She was also a licensed cosmetologist.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Shelbyville.

Pat was a homemaker, the farm manager and a member of the “Lunch Bunch”.

She was a member of ARC of Shelby County. Pat was also a member of Shares, Inc., where she formerly served on the board. She was very devoted to supporting both of these organizations.

Pat enjoyed shopping for antiques, genealogy and mowing the lawn. She also loved log homes. But most of all, she dearly loved her grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm, Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.

Funeral services will be at 10 am, Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the funeral home, with Pastor Jerran Jackson officiating.

Interment will be at Blue Ridge Cemetery.
