Pauline McConnell, 93, of Morristown, died Monday, Dec. 12, 2005, at Morristown Manor, in Morristown.
Born Sept. 27, 1912, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of the late William and Cora Belle (Cregor) Kemper. She married Albert McConnell on Sept. 27, 1939, and he preceded her in death in December of 1976.
Survivors include two nephews, Allen (wife, Connie) Kemper of Greenfield and Bill (wife, Linda) Kemper of Kokomo; two nieces, Karolyn McCalip of Indianapolis and Cora McMahan of Sumpter, S.C.; and several great-nieces and -nephews.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, James Cregor Kemper.
Mrs. McConnell had been employed with the United States Postal Service at the Morristown branch for 42 years, retiring in June of 1981.
She graduated in the 1930s from Morristown High School.
Mrs. McConnell was a lifelong member of Morristown Christian Church, where she was baptized on Jan. 30, 1923; and a member of Morristown Order of Eastern Star since Sept. 27, 1943.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Hickman officiating.
Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery, in Morristown.
