Regina Ann "Gina" Addison

Regina Ann “Gina” Addison, 69, of Nineveh, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021, at her home. She was born July 23, 1952, in Shelbyville, the daughter of Gary and Millie (Percifield) Cummins. On January 22, 1972, she married her husband of 49 years, James Michael Addison, and he survives. In addition to Mike, Gina is survived by her son, Michael A. “Tony” Addison and wife, Jennifer, of Fairland; daughter, Lesley Denison and husband, Dan, of Nineveh; sisters, Rebecca Loggan and husband, Emerson, of Shelbyville, and Christina Kimple and husband, Richard, of Zephyr Hills, Florida; grandchildren, Summer, Joe, Kaiman and Tripp; mother-in-law, Mary Joan Addison of Gwynneville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Gina graduated in 1970 from Morristown High School. She was a member of the Freeport Methodist Church. Gina was a motor carrier inspector for the Indiana State Police for 25 years, retiring in 2012. She loved to spend time creating memories with her grandchildren. Gina also leaves behind her dogs, Dolce and Cole. Private graveside services will be at Hanover Cemetery in Shelby County. Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 East North Street in Morristown. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shelbyville-Shelby County Animal Shelter, 705 Hale Road, Shelbyville.
