Robert Arthur Lardon, 81, of Fairland, formerly of Plymouth, Wisconsin, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021 at Franciscan Hospice House in Indianapolis.
He was born October 15, 1939, in Greenfield, the son of Arthur Earl Lardon and Ruth (Murphy) Adamson.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Robin Lunsford of Indianapolis, Christy Leggins and husband, Brian, of Fairland, and Molly Lentz and husband, Mark of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; sons, Jason Spinsky of Denver, Colorado, and Jon Spinsky and wife, Becky, of Janesville, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Levi Lunsford, Gideon Lunsford, Daniel Lunsford and wife, Brandi, Aaron Lunsford, Brian Leggins II and significant other, Leaha, Evan Leggins, Max Spinsky and Clayton Spinsky; great-grandchildren, Harmony Leggins, Halie Lunsford, Alyssa Lunsford and Kaylin Lunsford.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, John Lardon.
Robert was a US Army veteran, serving in the cold war in the 82nd Airborne, as a paratrooper.
He was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Plymouth.
Robert formerly worked in the sales department for Sargento. He also owned and operated an antique mall in Plymouth, Wisconsin.
He enjoyed going fishing, repairing antique clocks and spending time with his dog Ozzie.
Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
