Robert Harold "Bob" Singleton Jr.

Robert Harold “Bob” Singleton, Jr., 69, of Manilla, passed away, Sunday, August 7, 2022, at his home.

He was born June 15, 1953, in Coldwater, Michigan, the son of Robert Harold Singleton and Mary Louise (Allison) Sweet.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Sue Chay and husband, Juan, of Acworth, Georgia; granddaughters, Gabrielle Chay and Ashley MacAllister; sister-in-law, and Carol Singleton of Shelbyville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Steve Singleton.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam.

Bob loved cars.  He enjoyed working on cars, going to car shows and street racing.  Bob also enjoyed motorcycles.

He loved and leaves behind his dog, Baby.

A gathering of friends and family will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St., in Shelbyville, with military rites conducted by the local military committee at 5 p.m.
