Rondy Dale Thomas

Rondy Dale Thomas, 75, of Alvarado, Texas, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at his residence. He was born October 28, 1942, in Shelby County, the son of Sylvester “Doyle” and Juanita Mae (Hill) Thomas. On September 17, 2011, he married Majida Allo Thomas, and she survives. In addition to Majida, Rondy is survived by his son, Roger Thomas of Louisiana; daughters, RaJeanna Johnson and husband, Mark, of Texas, and Ronda Bruce and husband, Chad, of Tennessee; sister, Linda Rogian and husband, Art, of Minnesota; grandchildren, Austin Thomas, Cody Thomas, Victoria Johnson, Zain Abualrob, Ryah Abualrob and Braden Bruce; and many aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Rondy graduated from Morristown High School in 1960. He was a member of Little Blue River Baptist Church, and the Morristown Masonic Lodge. Rondy worked in the baggage department at the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport. Visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 am Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
