Russell Scott Headlee

Russell Scott Headlee, 59, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at his home.

He was born April 9, 1964, in Rushville, the son of Roger and Wanda Headlee.

Russell is survived by his daughter, Ravin Headlee and fiance’, Josh Gonterman, of Fairland; grandchild, Castiel Gonterman; girlfriend, Brenda VanHoosier of Shelbyville; sister-in-law, Cindy Headlee; aunt, Jane Bowles; nephew, Charlie Headlee; niece, Chrissy Jessup; great-nephews, Nate Headlee and Jalen Jessup; and great-nieces, Megan Headlee and Maggie Jessup.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Russell graduated in 1982 from Shelbyville High School.

He was a truck driver for 13 years, last working for Jessup Trucking in Mooresville.

Russell enjoyed riding his motorcycles.

A gathering of Russell’s friends will be from 2:30 to 4 p.m., Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
