Sandra K. Coulston, 58, of Shelbyville, died Tuesday, May 10, 2005. Born Nov. 23, 1946, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of the late Earl L. and Maxine D. (Wells) Adams. She married James R. Coulston Jr. on June 10, 1966, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 13, 1994. Survivors include two daughters, Shannon Christine "Chris" Coulston of Shelbyville and Tracey (husband, Michael) Bledsoe of Shelby County; stepgrandmother, Florence Wells of Bellville, Ill.; and two aunts, Marlene Kassenbaum and Mildred Revoire, both of Bellville. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth L. Adams and Jerry D. Adams. Mrs. Coulston was a lifelong Shelby County resident. She was employed with PK USA and formerly at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles Shelbyville Branch. Mrs. Coulston graduated in 1965 from Southwestern High School. She was a member of Flat Rock Christian Church and Flat Rock Order of Eastern Star. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with an OES service at 7:30 p.m., at Carmony-Ewing Broadway Street Funeral Home, 232 W. Broadway St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Lewis Todd Williams officiating. Interment will be in Flat Rock Cemetery, in Flat Rock. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Shelby County, 110 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN 46176; or Special Olympics Area Nine.
