Sandra M. "Sandy" Linville

Sandra M. “Sandy” Linville, 77, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Morristown Manor in Morristown. She was born January 17, 1941, in Muncie, the daughter of Gerald and Sarah (Porter) King. On June 18, 1966, she married her husband of 51 years, Ronnie Linville, and he survives. In addition to Ronnie, Sandy is survived by her daughters, Beth Marie Linville and Carol Diane Linville, both of Huntington. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a half-sister. Sandy graduated from Muncie High School in 1959, and obtained her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Ball State University. She was a member of Morristown Christian Church. Sandy was formerly a secretary at Detroit Steel for 10 years, and was a librarian. She enjoyed sewing and made many of her and her family’s clothing. Sandy also enjoyed listening to gospel music and leading bible studies. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon, Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Little Blue River Friends Church, 5939 County Road 1000 W, Morristown, Indiana. Funeral services will be at noon Saturday at the church, with Rev. Fred Hickman officiating. Interment will be in Little Blue River Friends Cemetery in Rush County. Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
