Sandra Sue "Sandy" Shields

Sandra Sue Shields (Sandy), 78, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 at Ambassador Healthcare in Centerville, Indiana. She was born in Shelbyville to Clyde R. and Avonelle (Sumpter) Shields on April 25, 1937. After the death of her parents, Sandra was in the care of her aunt, Harriet K. Weber, of Shelbyville, now deceased. Gayle Henderson of Shelbyville has served as her Guardian for many years. Surviving family include cousins Paul Shields, David Talkington and Betty Anderson. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 P.M. Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 South Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN with the funeral immediately following with Rev. Bill Horner officiating. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.
