Saul Watkins

Saul Watkins, 74, of Shelbyville passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus. He was born August 23, 1944, in Sewell, Breathitt County, Kentucky, the son of Saul Sr. and Maggie (Mullins) Watkins. Saul is survived by his wife, Diane Watkins of Shelbyville; daughters, Kay Aca-Ahuatl, April Peralta-Campos, and Connie Wright and husband, Scott, all of Shelbyville; son, William Watkins and wife, Alicia, of Valparaiso; sister, Diane Hart and husband, John, of LaPorte, Barbara Cudney and husband, Rodney, of Anderson; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, William Watkins. Saul was a member of United Baptist Church. He formerly worked as a Mill and Fork lift operator at ABC & MBCI in Shelbyville. Private family services will be observed. Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
