Scott Douglas Collins

Scott Douglas Collins, 65, of Shelbyville, passed away on September 16, 2026, at MHP Medical Center in Shelbyville.

He was born on January 27, 1961, in Shelbyville, the son of Dale and Beverly (Fewell) Collins.

Scott is survived by his mother, Beverly Fisher of Shelbyville; sisters, Shannon Wilcox and husband, Larry, of Shelbyville, and Jennifer Weber and significant other, Bobby, of Franklin; brother, Vincent Collins and significant other, Tina, of Morristown; numerous nieces and nephews; and many lifelong friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Collins; and brothers, Anthony Dale Collins and Todd Raymond Collins.

In 1979, he graduated from Shelbyville High School.

He was a leasing agent for Van Roy Properties for over 10 years, retiring in 2022.

Scott loved to spend time with family and enjoyed tropical settings.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St., in Shelbyville.
